Duaiv creates paintings that transcend the boundaries of expressionism and impressionism. The techniques, originated by the first French impressionists and the expressionists who followed, are greatly explored by current painters, yet rarely are they mastered with Duaiv’s finesse. He has found a balance between these two great traditions in Fine Art and created a style that is truly his own. In his movement beyond the confines of his traditional influences, Duaiv has secured his place as a contemporary master.

Duaiv was born in France near Bordeaux on July 26th 1952. At the age of 9, and with his left hand, he painted his first oil. Fortunately, his parents did not block his artistic vocation. To some extent it can be said that his parents diversified his vocation by enrolling him in both the Conservatory of Music and the School of Fine Art in Paris.
