Alejandro Castro was raised in the United States and Columbia. His earliest art influences were the childhood caricature drawings of his grandfather. Alejandro has been creative for his entire life. He decided to pursue an art education when he was in high school. He loves the creative process and the creative challenges that come with different projects. He loses himself within the art he is working on at the time. He works best while painting at night, and usually has several projects going on at once.
Alejandro obtained his Bachelor of Fine Arts at Laguna College of Art & Design and continues to work part time on his Master of Fine Art at Cal State Fullerton.
His work can be seen at the City of Laguna Beach –Public Murals, Art Institute of Southern California-outside mural, and Harrah’s Casino in both Louisiana and St. Louis.
The exhibitions that he has participated include Collectors Choice-2003 Laguna Beach; United for Columbia Orphanage-Pasadena 2003, also solo shows at Artworks, Jack Gallagher & Associates and several restaurants and Tech Space.
